A: The web site migration service on offer at SSD Nodo, LLC is totally free and involves moving all your web files, databases and emails from your current hosting provider to your new web hosting account with us. We’ll also fine–tune all the settings needed for your sites to be fully functional on our ultramodern cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are completely capable of moving any type of site. With years of work experience behind their backs, they are well–versed in the specificities of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other famous Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–built web application with lots of custom libraries is as easy as moving a plain WordPress weblog.

A: While we cannot give you an exact time window, since there are lots of factors, including the size of the files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your website and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will give our best to migrate your site within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (when the content is not large).

A: Yes. We will require the name of the website that you’d like us to transfer. We will also need a means to log in to your old web hosting account so that we can get the content pertaining to your web site.

A: User privacy is indeed one of our greatest priorities – that’s why, both our payment transaction page and our CP login page are secured with enterprise–grade SSLs. A: Your site will continue to work just like it did before with your old web hosting provider. Once we are through with the migration, your web site will be configured to work on our system and we’ll alert you to preview it. If everything is functioning correctly, all you will have to do is change the NS resource records corresponding to your domain. Your site will be transferred over to us without any downtime.

A: While we transfer your website content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the transfer at all. We will never touch base with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–based web hosting platforms. Fundamentally, if we can get access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your website.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source site management platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
